SAFETY

WOW's excellent safety record and commitment to an ongoing development of it's health & safety
policies provides ourselves and our clients working on commerciakl interiors projectswith a safe environment to carry out work, especially
important when working in occupied spaces.

A great degree of importance is placed on people in the organisation and on their health and safety and
we have an internal department dedicated to health, safety and the environment. We track our
performance in this area through our established management systems and activily involve the impartial
site inspection services of CDMC.

We also produce a site document kit which usually contains a 5 file system which is used on site to
contain and manage information such as Method Statements and Risk Assessments, operatives
induction sheets and plant operator certificates. The kit also contains an induction flip chart, which can
be utilised on site to communicate the site rules and emergency procedures. Induction register and
visitors book are supplied together with additional safety posters for the site. All subcontractors are
individualy required to present a current CSCS card before entering site.

Safe Contractor Approved

Wow have also recently been approved by the Safe Contractor Accreditation
Scheme. As a leading health and safety pre-qualification assessment scheme, Safe Contractor are
dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and compliance through the provision of
relevant industry specific and tailored health and safety assessments for all professions and sectors.

Doing Our Bit For The Planet

We understand that sustainability is becoming increasingly important to
our customers. The Environment is central to the WOW approach and all our activities are undertaken
with strict waste management policies, proactive use of sustainable timber materials along with the
use of recycled plastic products.

Recycling

We expect all of our suppliers to abide by our site rules regarding waste and disposal.
We actively encourage on site segregation and waste management accountability and ensure that
waste compounds are clearly identified on site set up.

A Top Solution

One of our recent projects in Bournemouth called Organix utilised creative use of recycled bottle tops and wellington boots! The bottle tops were used as a worktop material instead of the usual
timber based laminated options. Not a cheap solution but certainly a great way to use up all those
plastic tops.

Delivering Sustainability

WOW's approach to sustainability is pretty straigh forward. We work closely
with clients, designers and architects to deliver projects that reflect a realistic balance in terms of both
cost and environmental reward. Even simple operations like better co-ordination of deliveries and active
waste segregation all help to deliver a more considered, environmentally repectful project
